At Pediatric Emotional Enrichment Resources (PEER), we believe the answer lies in the power of storytelling, emotional connection, and clear, engaging communication. That’s why we’ve created a series of thoughtfully designed animated videos that walk children through medical procedures using age-appropriate language and analogies they can relate to. Our dedicated team—Doctor Teddy, Nurse Sunshine, and Doctor Paws—guides young patients with warmth and clarity, helping to reduce anxiety and build trust before surgery.
These animations are shown in the preoperative setting, where they can have the greatest impact—helping children feel more confident and prepared for what lies ahead. By addressing fear through familiarity and understanding, we aim to transform the medical experience into one of reassurance and empowerment.
